The Vivian Hall

Blackpill Local History Society

The Blackpill Local History Society was formed in 1987 and over the past 34 years the group has arranged programmes on a wide variety of local history themes.

Specialist speakers provide information and members can also explore themes and topics of interest covering the rich social and industrial heritage of this part of south west Wales.

Monthly meetings (except for August & December) on the third Tuesday from 10.00am.

Due to COVID19 there has been no meeting since March 2020 but the Society will restart on October 19th in the newly renovated surroundings. An illustrated presentation by the chairman, Bob Cuthill, will be given entitled "Swansea Around the World - Part One: the USA".
